The world has vomited on my desk and I'm here to pick up the pieces 'Lorraine Bennett' 2021

I couldn't help but laugh when watching back today's session on Methodology as Lorraine spoke as this is exactly how I feel. I am a total perfectionist and the 'muddling through' idea is a stressful new life lesson for me. I'm currently trying to get my head around my stance on Dualism, Embodiment, Positivist/non-positivist and collating my reading to be somewhat relevant to my original questions. I have however found that as topics broaden, my interest is shifting quite considerably between different areas. I'm reassured to see this is relatively normal at the beginning of module 2. I'm currently looking into the barriers to ballet education from a male teacher perspective. I want to hear from other practitioners in similar roles to myself on their thoughts. I'm interested to know, do we naturally develop a more sophisticated understanding of other pedagogical approaches such as imagery, demonstration, description etc, in lieu of direct teaching methods...
